Is the financial system more than plumbing? Sure it’s important and when the financial system fails we all notice but we shouldn’t con ourselves into believing that the future of any economy should hinge on one sector and it’s ability to contribute UNLESS it’s doing the basic plumbing job it’s meant to do.”
