your first time

There is always a first time for all the events of life, my darling grand-daughter May Malen! This is our first time of being sick. Your parents have suffered a lot, I dare say so much! You are so little and have such a good humour, that we are not used to see you not wanting to eat, to cry all the time, day and night. So much crying, that your parents were desperate of listening to you and expecting to be morning to take to the hospital and see what was happening Dad had to work, Mum was all alone, so your Granny Gloria went with you and parents – your Dad was allow to accompany all of you until the moment of seeing you diagnosed and with less pain. You looked like this:

May Malen is sick and cries

May Malen is sick for the first time, a terrible image for parents.

May Malen looked after her Mum

As you know, they are very wise in their science at the University of Cambridge, where they work, same place but different science, as your Grand Pa used to work. When a person is able to manipulate the world through its knowledge, not to be able to do anything by our there ones, is more depressing: one feels hopeless, unable, and silly depressed. Above all, when is the first baby that is not well without knowing the reasons…Mum Camila takes care of May MalenYou know, May Malen? People always believe that mothers suffer more tan fathers. It is not true. Fathers are not supposed to cry, nut yours was extremely sad, specially as he had to go away as society believes that babies belong to Mothers and that Fathers have nothing to do.

May Malens Father suffers

The Country where I live, allows for either to take care of a sick offspring. In UK, it happens not to be the case.father suffering as May Malen is ill, though it is not socially allowed…

Dad was happy when came to know was going wrong with you: a simple bug into your tummy. It was cured and knows you are well and recovering, so he is now happy.

When I was a young Father, I used not to go to work to be when either of our sick daughters was not too well. Mum and I, your grandparents know, stayed put until the sick daughter recovered.

Times have changed and one has to show productivity more than feelings. Very unpleasant way of being in this era of neoliberal’s behaviour!

Happily enough, you are better now, Mum, Dad and Granny take care of you for hours with no end. In few more days I shall be with you and we will play, with a May Malen fully recovered…
